1. Agreement

These terms and conditions govern the hire of jumping castle equipment from Sydney Prime Bounce (ABN pending), operating in Bankstown and South West Sydney, NSW. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

These terms operate alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via our website booking form, phone, or email.
  • A booking is confirmed only once you receive written confirmation from Sydney Prime Bounce (via email or text message).
  • We reserve the right to decline a booking if equipment is unavailable or if the proposed setup location is deemed unsafe.
  • You must be 18 years of age or older to make a booking.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of hire.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash, or other methods as agreed at the time of booking.
  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Customer cancellation (7+ days before event): Full refund of any deposit paid.
  • Customer cancellation (less than 7 days before event): The deposit is non-refundable, but we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your booking to an alternative date, subject to availability.
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show: No refund. The full hire fee may be charged.
  • Cancellation by Sydney Prime Bounce: If we need to cancel due to equipment failure or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

5. Weather Policy

Safety is our priority. Jumping castles cannot be operated safely in certain weather conditions.

  • Rain: Light rain is generally fine with adult supervision. In heavy or persistent rain, we may need to postpone for safety reasons.
  • Wind: If wind speeds exceed 40 km/h (or are forecast to do so), we will contact you to discuss rescheduling. Jumping castles must not be operated in high winds.
  • Extreme heat: In temperatures above 40°C, we may recommend postponing to protect children from heat-related illness.
  • If we cancel due to weather, you will be offered a full reschedule to an alternative date at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided.

6. Delivery, Setup, and Collection

  • Delivery, setup, and collection are included in the hire price for locations within our standard service area (Bankstown and surrounding suburbs in South West Sydney).
  • You must provide a suitable, flat, and clear area for setup. The area must be free of sharp objects, pet waste, overhanging branches, and other hazards.
  • Access to a standard 240V power outlet within 20 metres of the setup location is required. The blower must run continuously during use.
  • You must ensure vehicle access to the setup location for delivery and collection.
  • Our team will set up and anchor the equipment. Please do not attempt to move, reposition, or deflate the castle yourself.

7. Supervision Requirements

Responsible adult supervision is mandatory at all times while the jumping castle is in use. The hirer (you) is responsible for ensuring:

  • At least one responsible adult (18 years or older) is supervising the castle at all times.
  • Children are supervised according to the age limits and maximum capacity specified for the hired castle.
  • The safety rules provided at setup are followed throughout the hire period.

8. Safety Rules

The following rules must be observed at all times during use:

9. Damage and Liability

  • The hirer is responsible for the equipment from the time of setup to collection.
  • You are liable for any damage to the jumping castle or associated equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow the safety rules or instructions provided.
  • Damage includes but is not limited to punctures, tears, stains, burns, and damage caused by pets, sharp objects, or improper use.
  • A damage fee will be charged for repairs or replacement, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
